Because of her commitment to the project, service to the city, and public discussions on the subject of the N'burg political system, Aliasi Stonebender has been selected for a position on the SC.
According to the constitution, the RA will provide a vote of confidence on all candidates to the Philosophic branch. This vote is a simple majority and is in regards to her perceived likelihood to uphold the constitution. During the next RA meeting, a confirmation hearing should be added to the agenda.
Congratulations Aliasi.

I also thought I'd take the time to post my personal requirements for becoming a member of the SC: - Candidates must demonstrate excellence in their fields for many months prior to a discussion about admittance.
- One or more large, well written, and unique works must be published in a primary SL forum or in world and defended publically.
- The candidate must have demonstrated a history of understanding, interpreting, and protecting the constitution in its current form.
- The candidate must make an oath to act in the best interest of the city and to uphold the constitution above all else.
In short a candidate should be extremely intelligent, understand not just the constitution but the philosophy on which the government was based, and should be willing to defend the constitution against partisan attempts to weaken or subvert it. ~Ulrika~

From: Ulrika Zugzwang During the next RA meeting, a confirmation hearing should be added to the agenda.
The RA is holding a meeting this Sunday. I'll be sure this is mentioned. Personal comment held until then.
