The recently approved budget for first half 2006 approved funding for the following administrative positions. 1) RA Archivist 2) SC Archivist 3) Treasurer 4) Webmaster I currently fill the role of Treasurer... I'll have to dig my job description out of the musty archives of last August. The other three roles are currently un-filled. Since approval was made to begin salary checks in March, could we takes steps to fill them? I'd suggest that the RA and the SC add to their respective agendas the appointment of archivists for each of their organizations, and, god forbid!, job descriptions . The Webmaster will probably require waiting until there's a re-built site. But, may I suggest that a temporary web-master be appointed so that there can be a single focus for web needs? Sudane

Would the Guild appoint the webmaster and or draw up the description? I would think so.

From: Claude Desmoulins Would the Guild appoint the webmaster and or draw up the description? I would think so. I agree, yes, officially. Getting close to the top of my agenda is publishing the website build proposal as an RFP, and then connecting the role of webmaster to that. But right now, I feel we really just need a temporary "person-in-charge" who is the point person to do the simple additions and changes needed on the current site. Can one of the community's "webster's" be cajoled into playing that role and collecting the handsome salary? Sudane
