I regret I can't attend the RA meeting, as a new citizen (this week - yay!), but I submitted some comments on the proposed constitutional amendment on the thread for that item. Hope to be at the next one!

I am unfortunately quite unlikely to be able to make it to the RA meeting being held late tonight.
I would like though to express my opinion that it is far too early for the RA to be discussing concrete legislation in relation to the banking industry in Neualtenburg. Rather I'd prefer the discussion to stay at the principled level addressing such questions as:
- Will we allow unlicensed retail banking such as has been the case with Ginko hitherto? - Will we allow any form of unlicensed banking? - What should be the roadmap for a plan to gradually introduce licensed banking in Neualtenburg with the Neualtenburger Bank as the hub in the system that enables us to keep the necessary support and control with the financial sector? - Will we allow licensed retail banking or is it a better idea to have private individuals save up by purchasing Neualtenburger bonds and letting the city / bank reinvest this money with banks thus absorbing much of the risk for private individuals? (I'm inclined toward the latter)
I think it would be prudent to appoint someone to head the Neualtenburger Bank and have this person draft a proposal on the basis of your discussion and recommendations in the RA and perhaps also using my ideas in the forum thread on banking legislation and then put something more detailed forward for discussion at the RA at a subsequent session.
