Hello!
My name is Keltrien Baker and I'll be moving into Neualtenburg tomorrow. I am new to SL, working on day 8 now, and am hooked.
I was lucky enough to meet Aliasi a few days ago and she showed me around her Tower. I love the town, the philosphies, and the few people of Neualtenburg that I've met so far.
In RL, I own a design, marketing, and advertising firm and have been a graphic designer for the past 10 years. Eugene told me about the discussion the RA had today about advertising and I wanted to offer my services to the city.
I came over to SL from Star Wars Galaxies, where I ran the game's largest player events company. We ran a regular party series called Groovefest, weekly races, planned private weddings and parties, created detailed, and story driven in-game quests. In SL, that's no big thing, but in SWG, it wasn't the norm. Part of me wishes I had just stumbled upon SL two years ago, but what can you do?
I've brought over 17 people (and counting) from SWG and we're forming up at the Refugees of Intrepid. We'll be building the Refugee's HQ on our lot in Neualtenburg, so if you see any of us around, give a /wave.
I have a few people who worked for me in SWG who are playing SL now, so if we can be of service in helping plan, run, and/or promote events, give me or Zoot Kolache an IM.
I'm looking forward to getting to know more of you and getting involved in the community.

Welcome to Neualtenburg, Keltrien (& friends)! I'm glad you're around  — one thing we've talked quite a bit is that Neualtenburg certainly needs quite a few more people who run regular events. It seems that you and your group will definitely "fit in" quite nicely, I do really hope you enjoy both SL and Neualtenburg. So, uh, may the Force be with you always  |

COOL! I attended two Groovefests! One on Intrepid and a copycat one on Bloodfin. I was a wall flower.
Lotsa lotsa people leaving SWG. They rely on bringing in new people to survive cause they keep ticking off those who have been around for a while. Welcome to SL, Keltrien!

We've brought 25 people over with us as of last night and expect a few more tricklers. Of course, not all of those will stay, but when it all settles, we should have a good little group. And yes, we'll keep the wookiees on a leash. (How was the Bloodfin Groovefest? I think I was talking to the organizers when they threw it, but I never made it over to check it out.)
