NB 4-31: A bill to provide restitution to homeless citizens

WHEREAS
The CC&R description of zone c states, in part,

"Homes will be provided and placed by the city to achieve the feel of a dense urban build."

and WHEREAS

Numerous citizens were left without homes due to Ulrika Zugzwang's removal of Fachwerken from within the walls.

THEREFORE

The city will provide restitution to homeless citizens subject to the following conditions.

To be eligible, a citizen must own one or more lots from which Ulrika Zugzwang removed a fachwerk on or about April 28, 2006.

The lots in question must not be in arrears with regards to city land fees.

Eligible citizens will receive a one time payment of $L500 per eligible lot.

The guild will assist with placement of structures.

To be eligible, citizens must have purchased an eligible lot prior to May 6, 2006.

Only one $L500 payment will be made per lot.

I will pay the L$500 to each individual who makes a claim. If the city provides L$500 nonetheless, I will voluntarily match the amount for a total of L$1000.

By the way, this is an excellent bill.

Is this how an individual was able to own houses on other peoples land? I would seek new wording in the future that would require the land owner to place the house, and force the land owner to set the land auto return so only their group objects can remain.

I appreciate the offer, the city is wonderful, but this wasn't the city's fault, except that they didn't insist land owners buy or obtain their own house, so this can't happen again. I will just return the money, so don't send it to me. Ulrika, feel free to send my $L500 to the government trust.

I can't find any homes that fit a small lot and the requirements. If anyone has a landmark of a place, I would be grateful.

Kevin - Kendra has kindly offered her fairgrounds to run the Neualtenburg Parade of Homes during the month of May. Hopefully all be the builders will be set up tommorrow, so watch for the official announcement.
