Were land- and building-ownership limits set too low? Do some of you need more land or another structure in the city center but are already at your maximum? What are you thoughts on changing the limits from their current levels? The current maximums are: - The maximum area one person can hold in the city walls is 1024 m^2, unless the zone is a privatized city build (Museum, Castle, Church, or Spital).
- The maximum number of private (non-city and non-commercial) structures one can hold within the city walls is 2.
- The maximum number of private (non-city and non-commercial) lots one can hold within the city walls is 2.
- The maximum area one person can hold outside the city walls is 4096 m^2.

My own thoughts are that they are good per-sim limits; my concern is less "absolute amount of land" and more "being able to participate as we expand".

I think it's still too soon to see if we need to change the limits. Let's wait another RA term and rethink what we need to adjust. If the term ends with about the same number of citizens, I think we should allow people to own more.

I just recall some folks asking about owning more land and was wondering what kind of demand there was. When I wrote the covenants, I set the land and housing limits rather arbitrarily based on my best guess of what would be fair. I wanted to make sure the limits weren't too low. ~Ulrika~

Yes, indeed - but if I remember correctly, the initial idea was also trying to aim to a certain number of residents, about 40 or so (ie. about twice as we have right now), so the plots shouldn't be too big, but also not small enough to discourage the people that wished to own a bit more.

I've been torn between wanting to buy more land just to help out and being glad I can't so new people still have somewhere to go.
