Some of us reprobates got together in a steamy bath and decided to hold a party in Neualtenburg. We've set it for 11 am game time on Friday to give Europeans a chance to attend (there could be potential new residents there!) but in all likelihood it will extend or reappear, after a suitable nap, in the evening of the big country to the west.

I have an ad in the wanted column for a DJ and one reply so far, but in case that doesn't work out does anyone know a DJ available then? If all else fails we can all tune into the music channel cunningly mentioned in a very cunning notice in the valley.

Be there or be locked in a dungeon with the Bishop of Bath and Wells!

If you like rock (mostly gothic and metal), get in touch with Sech Molinari, and tell him that Gwyn's given his name ;) He's unsurpassingly good as a DJ. It's not because I like his choices; it's because he knows, that as a DJ, he has to put a "personal touch" into the music selection, and not simply get his favourite CDs streamed over. If you challenge him to do a mix of Abba, Handel, and Britney Spears, he would be able to pull that off — he would probably curse you to eternity, but he would manage it, and make it entertaining for everybody.

Although I think that 11 AM is too early for him, he usually logs in around 1 or 2 PM. Still, it doesn't hurt to ask; sometimes he returns earlier from work.

I have a DJ rig and a shoutcast server, and would be happy to do anything you guys need, but I work from 10 am to about 7:30 pm game time.

I love Nightwish!

But this is not really dance music. ;-)

That's great - you can do the second shift for the Leftpondians :)

The person who volunteered to do the first shift at 11 am - Lecktor Hannibal - is suddenly unavailable :(

BUT - I have set the land to a dance stream, so please come along anyway. You can always play your own music :D

As well as the dance floor there's a free raffle ball - just click to enter every 10 minutes or so - food and drink, a pool, seats, cunningly concealed snogging poseballs (ooh I say!) and I believe there are fireworks as well.

Both sessions were a success - many thanks to all who came along and contributed one way or another. It was enormous fun and I propose we have another very soon :D

I stopped by and no one was there. I guess I was in between sessions. But the party setup looked great. Good job.
