Who owns the sim? The PayPal account?

I was about to invest in Neualtenburg on the heels of its previous election and good outlook.

Is it all going to fall apart now?

All of the people who have invested in the sim own it as a co-operative.

However, as the sim ownership system Linden Lab has is not set up for that sort of thing, the sim is technically owned by Rudeen Edo, who is an alt of Sudane Erato, the current Guildmaster and treasurer, and similarly with the PayPal account.

One of the points of Neualtenburg having all the governmental structure it does (elections, branches, etc.) was an attempt to learn from many previous builds that went bust when the original creators moved on for whatever reason. We haven't gotten as far as we would have liked, although some of that has to do with the limitations of in-world tools.

This may be the moment when we learn whether all of the structures work as intended. It's a testament to the planning that there is no question who will set city policy (the RA) or who will rebuild if there is rebuilding to be done (Die Gilde)

By the way.....

Does anyone know what Ulrika intends to do with the neualtenburg.org domain name?
