Where did you hear about Neualtenburg first?

We will in the near future be developing a marketing strategy to make the benefits of being a resident or owning a business in Neualtenburg better known to the SL community at large. Part of the strategy will lie be identifying and cultivating channels of communication with our prospective target group. As an informal input to this strategy I'd therefore like to hear from you where you heard about Neualtenburg first.

The first time I heard about neualtenburg was in a Thinkers meeting held in neualtenburg.

There's no option for "I created it".

What is a Neualtenburg?

I imagine whatever respect Ulrika gained in the creation, she lost in the execution.

Hmmm, there really should be an "Other" option.

Needless to say, I first heard about Neualtenburg back when it was first being formed, as part of a long forum post. Around that time, I discovered the website and read the prospectus, but didn't have any tier to contribute, so I never joined. .

My response should really be "other", too.

When I started looking at Second Life, I came across Gwyneth's blog. Later, I saw that Gwyn was hosting a class on making money in SL, something that seemed useful to me as a newbie. While looking at her profile, I saw mention of "Neualtenburg" and found it interesting that one of the groups she belongs to (I think I saw it in a group membership) had a German name, since I live in Germany.

During the class (which took place in Neualtenburg -- hmm, maybe "I attended an event there" would have been the correct poll option, then), someone asked her whether he could talk to her about Neualtenburg after the class and she said yes. I stayed briefly after the class to hear her answer that avatar's questions, and I probably asked her a couple of things, too.

I remember that one thing that seemed attractive to me at the time was the ability to "own" land without needing a paid account -- and I think I was also aware of the availability of smaller plots with lower monthly costs than regular tier payment. (I had never before heard about rental/"owning" arrangements on private sims; since then, I've become aware of a couple of others and signs that there must be many more.)

So I basically heard about it from that avatar who talked to Gwyneth after the class; unfortunately, I don't remember who it was.
