Guess what? Neualtenburg just won a "Developer Incentive Reward"! Here's the email to Rudeen. Congratulations Rudeen Edo! You've won a Developer Incentive Award of $24.80 USD for dwell received between July 1 and July 31, 2005. Beginning this month, all developer incentive awards will be processed as credits towards your Second Life account. Please see the following forum announcement for more details: /3/50/57087/1.html#post600462Thanks for all your time and effort in making Second Life the exciting, creative place it is! Best regards, Linden Lab and the Second Life Team People, this isn't pocket change. This is one eighth of our monthly fee to the Lindens. Congradulations, Neualtenburg! Sudane

The days when Neualtenburg was the empty snow city in Anzere are finally behind us. What fantastic news. We're seventh from the bottom of the Developer Incentive list. ~Ulrika~

Sex, gambling, miles on miles of mall-shopping... ... that that I have anything against those three things. Just, y'know, not bad for a faux-Bavarian town.

We'll see if we're capable of a repeat. ~Ulrika~ Oh, yes, I'm positive that was a major factor. On the other hand, it got the word out that Neualtenburg didn't just "dry up and blow away", but was a continuing concern. And, I can only speak for myself, but I pretty much blab all about the place at the slightest provokation.
