What Happened?!

I go away from Second Life for a couple of days, pay the next couple of month's considerations, play around with Daz and Poser and then get some RL work done.
We were happily trying to buy another sim when I left and we I get back,
and the whole sim is disintegrating!?

Not only is Ulrika leaving, but so is Kendra! I've gone through the posts over the last few days but I'm unable to find any one single cause that pushed them over. What exactly happened?

Well as an outsider and non resident, I can offer my perspective as to what happened. First there was this which in turn seems to have provoked this, that in turn provoked this, which I think finally caused this.

Course, that's just what I've gleamed from rubber-necking, there may've been more going on in the back ground, but really... with all this in the fore.... I'd doubt it.

To set the record straight, my decision to leave Neualtenburg was posted prior to Ulrika's decision to leave.

I will be returning to Neualtenburg in a couple of days, when I feel the emotional cloud that has been stirred up for me this weekend pass.

My leaving and returning has nothing to do with Ulrika's decision to leave,

Most of my decision involved the treatment of Neualtenburg's artisan class of which I've been a staunch protector since it's inception. I have confidence the current newly elected RA, on which I'll serve (if they'll still have me) will continue the support for Neualtenburg's own artists.

Currently the Altenburg section of Neualtenburg is closed for business and will re-open after a bit of renovation. (In RL, I also re-arrange my furniture after emotional events)

My apologies to the City of Neualtenburg for my part in this upheaval.

Sorry Kendra, for my mistaken interpretation of events. I, though not a part of the project, am heartened to hear you aren't leaving it. ^.^

I'm glad you're staying, Kendra. Neualtenburg will not be the same without your architectural vision.

PS: I'm just glad I didn't read your "I'm leaving" post till after you reconsidered. Otherwise you would have gotten a late night drunken phone call. haha
