Linking Rotating Prim

Hi everyone

Not sure if this has been covered before, but I've built a turtle with moving parts (using Puppeteer) so it is linked to a root prim. I put a rotation script into the root prim too so the turtle can swim around. My problem starts when I link the turtle to the build it's going into. Depending on which way round I link them the turtle either stops rotating (and stops moving) or the build rotates with it. I'm tearing my hair out looking for an answer! Can anyone tell me if there is a way for the turtle and the build to be linked while still keeping my turtle moving and rotating before I have steam coming out of my ears?

Thanx :)

Quite frankly, with that much prim movement going on, the least gray-hair inducing method would be to have them as separate objects.

If they need to stay in the same area, you can take them into inventory as a coalesced object, or use a rezzer, or something.

Trying to get it all perfectly working would probably get confusing, frustrating, and easily borked.

Thanx for that.

Where can I get a rez box from? I've tried looking for one but they all seem to come with houses :) Or is there a script out there so I can make a rez box myself?

There are several available. A nice free one is Builder's Buddy, which you can get from .
