Hi there, Im going to make a series of homes based on a lounge i made a couple years ago, but wondering what a good floor size to start with. Not a big deal, but i always get stuck at the very beginning, trying to start. I'm an experienced builder otherwise. Just totally clueless on the market demand. Thanks , Court

This might be useful. Below are pretty much the "usual" parcel sizes (of course, there are exceptions):
512sqm (117 prims) --- 16mx32m 1024sqm (234 prims) --- 32m x 32m 1536sqm (351 prims)--- 32m x 48m 2048sqm (468 prims) --- 32m x 64m 2560sqm (585 prims) --- 40m x 64m 3072sqm (702 prims) --- 48mx 64m 3584sqm (819 prims) --- 56m x 64m 4096sqm (937 prims) --- 64m x 64m

I'd start with something that has a less than 30 x 30 Meter footprint, and uses 100 prims or less. That should fit on any lot of 1024 M2 or larger, unless very oddly shaped, and still leaves the homeowner enough prims to furnish it nicely.
You might also toy with what you can do that fits into a 15 x 30 or 10 x 20 max footprint, and no more than 25 to 50 prims, for 512 M2 parcel users. It's a challenge building something nice with so few prims, but certainly can be done.
Whatever you do, include info on both the prim count and the width and length of the build for your customers, and NEVER build something that will cover 100% of one of the standard parcels. Always leave some room between the home and parcel edges, or it will be almost impossible to rez and position on a tight lot.

thank you Ceera (as usual) and Malia, for the information. I was away from SL for a while and forgot quite a bit. It will be very useful.
