So, which of the sides of a cube prim is 0? I've been trying to figure it out, so I can adjust my light objects accordingly.
Anyone know?

The upper one, basically the one the blue arrow points to.

I have a script (one I modified from a wiki script) that lets you read the ordinal number of the faces of a prim and then set various parameters of any face(s) with a voice command. I wrote it as a building tool in constructing a 24-prim dome in which I needed an easy way to set various faces 100% transparent, but it's easily modifiable to incorporate any other prim parameter changes and could handle multiple options at once. When the grid comes back on, I'll go get it, if anyone's interested.
The script has worked quite well for me, although I'm not so pleased with the dome I originally wrote it for, and will probably tear it down at some point. Such is the tyro SL architect's life. <sigh> |
