I'd like to start creating sculpties for my business; I did the research and found that Modo seemed to be the best SL sculpty tool, since it has tons of features and an intuitive workspace.
However, I'm a total beginner to Modo and sculpties in general. I'm sure I'll be able to figure out the actual sculpting tools; what's confusing me is the process of converting an object into a sculpty. The Internet has failed me: all the instructions on making sculpties with Modo are either incomprehensible, outdated, or both. I couldn't even begin to understand the Lovecraft Forest post. Garg!
Does anyone know of a resource for BEGINNER sculptors that explains in clear terms (preferably with pictures) how to export an object into sculpt map with Modo? Or am I in way over my head and should just switch to Wings3D? I'd really rather not because Modo has such wonderful sculpting tools.
