How do i get around " Unsupported Mesh Size " |

hi. i'm trying to import a sculpted model into SL using wings3d, but when i try to export using the plug-in, it always says that i have an unsupported mesh size. how do i fix this?

That error usually means that you've done an operation on the mesh that altered the 32x32 mesh size... such as an extrude or something of that nature. I ran into this problem when I first tried Wings as well.
This page has some info about using wings for creating sculpties, including "allowable" mesh operations that you can use without making your mesh unusable: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Wings_3D#Allowable_Editing_Commands If you use operations not on that list you will likely end up with a mesh that you cannot export. |

Short answer: Use a mesh size that IS supported.
More indepth answer: That means a perfect grid of 32x32 quads, with a perfect UV map. Arbitrary meshes will not work. If you want a model to be a sculpty, it has to be built as a sculpty, from the ground up. For more information, do what Maurice said. Read the instructions on the wiki. _____________________
