I worked on a house last night at the sandbox, came out pretty decent as far as I'm concerned. What I need to know, is where to find textures, and the like. At the moment, I have no doors or windows in it, if anyone's willing to spend a few minutes with me in world, it'd be much appreciated. Not sure on how to add the windows or doors, so any help will be a godsend.

Thanks,
Shade

I'm also aware that there are classes and the like, but my schedule is random. Can hardly ever make it to the classes. :D

what I'm looking for really, is sort of an english pub type thing. nothing huge, just something to call home, and for my friends and myself to hang out in. Not sure if that'd be considered a normal house or not.

I found a number of textures useful for building things here. They are all free and royalty-free. The same site also has a larger selection of textures that you can buy a paid subscription to.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions on textures :) I'll check 'em when I get home. For some reason, they get a little pissed when I'm downloading textures and things at work :D

LL also provides us with a alot of textures. In your Inventory, open the Library folder and you'll find a texture's folder there.

oh, sweet, thanks, Ghoti, I'll do that as soon as I get home. Might be something cool in there.
