Hi, I have a acquired a copy of Modo thru my school, and am curious if it is compatible with SL in any ways. If this has already been discussed, if anyone knows a thread URL, i'd appreciate it. Im curious to know if it is used on the Grid for sculpty and texture making.

Ive made a few sculpties with zbrush, but modo looks like an excellent compliment for more geometrically-exact items.

Thanks,

It should work fine for texturing using its tools with an avatar mesh. I vaguely remember a plugin or something for making sculpties too, but I haven't seen anyone in the forums talking about it in a long time (edit: it looks like it's dead. The creator yanked it http://www.lovecraftforest.com/blog/2007/05/17/sculpted-prims-in-modo-part-ii/). There's no support for offline prim building.
