Basicly i cant cancel my trial membership as whenether i try the Cancel membership option in the Sub section of the account summary my details are still there.

Countless emails to no reply, do i really need to go to california to knock some heads together ?

Dont quote me on this but, it might keep your details there but deactive your account because you are able to reactivate your account so many days after you cancle it so it might just deactivate it when you hit the cancle membership thing.

1. What are you trying to do? Cancel the membership, or remove the credit card details?

2. Emails take a day or two to get a response.

3. This is the wrong forum.

1. What exactly does this have to do with architecture?

2. Why is it anyone's business what is going on with your account but yours and Linden Labs'?

3. What exactly do you expect any of us to do about it?

4. If you cancel your account, you won't be able to read anyone's responses to this thread anyway, so what do you hope to gain by writing about it here? It's not as if anyone here is going to be turned off to SL because of your "experience", which is what I suspect is your gaol here.

5. There's nothing wrong with your credit card number remaining in the system. It would be illegal for a company to use the card or share it without your consent, but they are within their rights to hold the information as long as it is only for record keeping purposes. What do you think happens every time you use your card anyway? The transaction records do not disappear. Every company keeps the records on file for auditing purposes. They have to. So quit bitching about it. It's no big deal.

Your lawyer works on Saturday morning? The billing and customer service department at Linden Lab does not, so cool your jets for a few days and I'm sure they will get back to you.
