Okay, I know it has to be a wave file, and less than 10 seconds....but a 44.1 sample rate?
how do I get a small wav file less than 10 seconds long to a 44.1 sample rate?
Please someone, HELP!

If you're using Windows, open the .wav file in Sound Recorder. It's located under Start > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment for me, but you can always go straight to your Windows directory or do a search for it.
In Sound Recorder, go to File > Properties, then under Format Conversion make sure "All Formats" is selected and click Convert Now...
Use the Attributes dropdown box to select a format -- 44.1 kHz, 16 bit, Mono is what I use, since IIRC SL doesn't play sounds in stereo. Then click the two OK boxes and save your sound (or Save As if you'd like to preserve the original file).

Well, what I use to do this is by using a program called Multiquence. It is very easy to use. You should try it out. It took me about a few tries to actually understand what I was doing. It's pretty simple and basic. Try it
