I wanted to make sure it was absolutely clear that the DarkWood theme is expanding onto the new region.

We already have enough people to purchase more than half of the sim, which means we can get Lindens to hold on to the rest for us.

We are still interested in getting more people! If you want to be part of the largest fantasy project in SL please contact me (Ama Omega) via IM in game whether I am online or not (use the Find button if you don't have my card).

There are no prerequisits for joining, aside from a willingness to help and learn or teach depending on your skill level. Any land you can help purchase on the new sim would be great, but not required.

Things that will be in the new expanded DarkWood (subject to change, got ideas?):
* A forest. Potentially haunted, with paths and who knows.
* A castle.
* An evil town
* 2 Rivers and a Lake
* The existing DarkWood village will remain with some minor modifications including most likely moving the stage / event area to the sim border for larger events and expanding it.
* Whatever tolkein/wc3/forgotten realms/DnD/etc fantasy stuff people want. We will have lots of space.

There is still room in this project. We are looking for help of any kind. :) Contact me or post below.

Darkwood Village is staying, with some minor changes that are already taking place (the stage/gallows has been moved to tthe sim border for large events in the future, more lots are opening up).

We have the new sim (DarkWood is the expansion of an existing Linden Sponsored Theme and not subject to the selection process for a new sim because we alread did it once). :D Any and everyone interested in helping out post to this thread, the meet and greet thread in general (started by Yuki) or get in contact with me.

Its amazing how big a clean sim is, it is just truely amazing. And beutiful. There is so much room for lots of projects and ideas.

If you are part of another new sim settlement project/group but are still interested in DarkWood we have about 4 lots available in the existing village for a small home or shop 4 total land squares - cheap!). Once the sim gets added to the grid we should have room for even more shops.

Lots of options, just let me know what you want. :)

Also as a side note, after a while of poor stability on the Well, I have finally got my Percussive Repair Techniques (kicking it) down and it is working smoother than ever before. Its still the same well, same script, same odds, same everything except this time it doesn't break.
