Active Store Landmarks Wanted !!!

I am hosting my first Mentor Event on Saturday, July 26th. It is going to be a Teleport Shopping Tour. I will cover the basics of buying items and teleport to a few shopping districts.

Here's where you come in. After the tour, I want to give participants a bundle of landmarks of active stores for their future shopping needs. If you would like to have your store included in this bundle, post sim and location here. You can give it to me in world, but make sure you have my attention before you do, I have a bunch of old store landmarks and I dont want to get the old and new mixed up.

You will have until Friday, July 25th to get your landmark to me to be included. Please only send me landmarks to your STORES. This is a great opportunity to get your store on the map, if I get a good response, this item will probably be available on a regular basis.

Aqua! Aqua has several active stores.
Just tell them to visit Aqua. What could be simpler? If you really need an axact landmark my store location is below in my sig.

Drag them all over to Aqua! We have a bunch of great stores there (loc. of mine is in my sig ) , plus the new Avatar Central which has been filling up nicely the past few days.

We are opening a new store in central Minna that should be open before the 26th! I'll send you a LM in game or post the cordinates later when I get home and can check them. Excellent idea btw!

This is a great idea, but it should be kept current, there are always so many changes going on in SL.

Can we put some unique notecard giver somewhere like Stage 4 or somewhere in the intro area with shopping land marks? It can be updated once a week or so by who ever is in charge of it. Any seller wishing to would need to submit a landmark to this same person to be included or to register a change.

If it is Linden owned and operated, maybe small fee, like $1 per landmark submission to satisfy the resource gods?

We would love to help you guys get customers and help customers find you. How about using the advertising kioks in near the events board in the welcome area? (Dore, Bonefacio border) You can include a note card with landmark along with a texture. Or if these don't work for you, tell us why.

Haney, I think this would be a great idea, actually. I was just saying to a few people yesterday how hard it is to find businessnes without, well, just kind of wandering in .

Sorry, I haven't seen you in game recently to send you the LM for our store for your store tour. The deadline is today and I won't be able to logon until late tonight. I've asked Si Money to try to get the LM to you today but I'm not sure if he got the message. If not, would it be too much trouble for you to fly into Minna and make a LM for it? The name is EMP, the LM I give out is named "EMP (Minna)" saved just outside the front door. It's located in the center of Minna. You can't miss it!

No problem, Rathe. I plan on including any submitted LM. Since you have expressed interest, I will drop in on your Minna place and make sure your included.

I have been procrastinating and lack of response to my LM request has stalled this project. I will probably be busy with things all night into the morning.

There is still time for you to get your LM's to me. Lack of response is forcing me to have to go out and create LM of stores I happen upon, so no telling what I will title your store LM (if I even see your place). So, please bombard me with LM's tonight if you want your store listed in this project.

why doesn't some bright scripter (by which I mean not me ) make a SL Yellow Pages? It would be interesting to see what clever methods folks came up with to include it in their area without changing the theme (Darkwood comes to mind)
