New Group

All right, I've tried this several times, but it's failed most of them. Personally, I blame poor advertisement and recruitment.

I would like to start a group for serious and skilled Avatar builders. Now before you say it, yes, I know there are A LOT of these groups out there in SL, but would it hurt to have just one more? What can I say, I enjoy playing the game with people of similar likes and endeavors, and it’s always inspirational to have someone else’s, or a group’s opinion. I'm sure there are some other players out there who'd wish the same.

I know there are many new and skilled avatar builders out there, yes, you know who you are.

Please IM me in game if you would like to join. I have not yet decided on a name or details about the group but eh, we’ll wing it. Or, obviously, post here if you have any questions or comments.

what would it help? why don't you join one of the existing ones and up the chances that one will succeed? if they keep failing the problem's not cause there aren't enough of them.

Uh...That's not what I said. I didn’t say "There aren’t enough of these groups."

Now if you do look into the already existing ones, most I know don't recruit anymore, aren't really very active in their building, or just aren't that accessible to join. I'm not saying those groups are bad, they’re not, they're just not the kind of group I'm imagining.

Anyway, lets not turn this into a flame thread. I’m only interested in starting a good group.

I kinda get your drift, like an "Av Bastards Unite"!!! Where you basically get a "fun", "active" gruop going on where people who are good and just want to "enjoy" the building AND group thing can go. Yeah, like nappy headed step-children!!!! Who don't fit into the mainstream and professional groups?

There are a lot of excellent groups in SL But a lot seem to be lacking the relaxed "layman's" atmosphere. Some are even diffiicult to talk to other member cause they're into some serious bidness "at the moment.

Right track? or too much crack?!!!
