I noticed this has been fixed in server 1.25.0: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-640Seems to fix click action and sale status/price not copying when you drag-copy an object in-world. It got me wondering if texture anim and targetomega were also supposed to be copied. I've been assuming they don't copy using drag-copy by design. Is that correct?

From: Anya Ristow I noticed this has been fixed in server 1.25.0: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-640Seems to fix click action and sale status/price not copying when you drag-copy an object in-world. It got me wondering if texture anim and targetomega were also supposed to be copied. I've been assuming they don't copy using drag-copy by design. Is that correct? No. I've made prim water before that had animated texture to it (using the AnimSmooth script), and drag-copied panels of that water always retained their animations. Though on second thought, I don't know that I have tried that after removing the initial script. You can use a script to start a texture animation, and the texture will still be animated after you remove the script, until that texture is replaced by a new one. A prim of that type might lose the animation if drag-copied, but I would hope not.

I have tried that after removing the script and the texture animation did not copy. The original continued to animate but the copy had to be restarted using animsmooth.

Thanks Isablan. I wasn't sure about that, since I tend to leave the script in the prims, so I can easily change the speed or direction of the ripple movement and undercurrents.
