I'm not sure if this has been brought up before or if it's already in discussion, but I figured I'd bring it up anyway. I was talking the other day with Judge Leviathan and Kathy Yamamoto and the topic of a Second Life Parade came up. The details haven't been worked out, and I'm not even sure if I have the abilities to coordinate anything of that calibur, but who knows... maybe someone else here does ;)

I was thinking it could span across most of the world, maybe start at one end and end at the other, but then there's the problem of roads (or rather, the lack thereof) and the fact that we would be walking right through people's property. The new coloured lands are new enough though that I think we could walk from one side to the other with not much of a problem.

Besides just being a parade of avatars, there could also be float contests! Maybe each themed community could make a float, or maybe there could be a contest signup for individuals, or maybe there could even be contests for 'most unique avatar' or something.

This is obviously just up in the air right now, but maybe it could be combined with the Public Release and 4th of July for some sort of mutated super-parade. Any thoughts? Suggestions?

If someone (or a group of people) want to go ahead and coordinate this, that would be awesome. I'm more in a position to help then anything else :)

Sounds beautiful... but you'd have to stagger it out pretty well because each sim will only hold... what... 18 people max I think? Doesn't leave a lot of room for spectators.
