The Great Teledahn Build

Hello all,
Earlier this month a friend of mine re-started the idea in my head of building my version of one of the ages of Uru here in SL. I thought my strip of land in Davenport would be enough for my vision. That was until monday when I decided that it would just be "easier" to get a whole sim to house my vision.

In Uru, Teledahn is a world of water and giant mushrooms, of walkways and giant sea creatures. My "problem", and the reason everyone doesn't have their own sim, is the cost.
I have about half of it in cash and was wondering what people thought about helping raise the other half through donations (of L$). Any thoughts?

Do donaters get anything in return? Got any pics of Teledahn?

Are you aware that there's already an entire sim based on Myst? I know it's not based on Teledahn; I'm just wondering if there's some sort of agreement with the current keepers to have something Teledahn related on that sim.

Yes, I am aware there is an Uru based sim. Infact, I have built a thing or two for that sim. It is more for players then anything (IMO). I want to recreate Teledahn for the sake of recreating Teledahn. Not for any person or group, but just so it exists again and anyone can have the oportunity to wander through it.

whoops! my tired brain missed a question. Do donators get anything...hrmm besides recognition in the sim when it gets underway I hadn't really thought about it. Any suggestions?
