okay i've been using the subtool master to try to create stuff, i merge them, export it to my desktop, then run it through zsculpty to convert it, but zsculpty says it has too many vertices? What's wrong? I've watched http://www.shiny-life.com/2008/08/27/create-multiple-sculpty-objects-with-zbrush/ and can't figure out what i'm doing wrong.

As the note says, use the zsculpt plugin, not subtool master.

You shouldn't need to merge before exporting with the new version of zsculpty. Make sure all your prims are at the lowest subdivision level. Also - if you made the original object out of a base that is higher than 32x33 and made a lot of them, sometimes zsculpty won't work. I've found it's best to start at the 32x33 (or oblong size) and then subdivide up via the geometry palette.
