I have alot of patients with some things... and little...with others, lol... I started building within the first few days of my SL birth.. and omg.. was hooked!!! Needless to say, didn't have the patients to wait, and activated my SL account before the trial was due over
. Why you ask... I wanted land!!!! I went to the great hall of the auction site... and there.. I began to bid... first... I lost out on some land to higher bidders. Then I asked, ok... how much do I want land.. and what is it worth to me... not my pocketbook.... woohoo... found my secondlife haven... in Cowell
No way did I want it to slip past me... each time the clock went under five minutes.. my heart began beating faster... my hands would become wet... and my eyes glued to the screen... and my finger on the mouse, had a mind of its own as it kept clicking..clicking..reclicking... and omg.. a few times.. my heart jumped when.. last thirty seconds... someone else pushed it back to another five minutes!!! Then... the calm.... it was mine.... the beautiful waterfrontage...leading to the mountain... into a small valley of woods... Then... I knew.. I didn't want to cover the land... but to work with it... to enjoy the nature...yet... able to use it... The first... was Shellia, the huge pink snail... perhaps you've seen her in your travels? Then... came the enchanted waterfall... and with help from Loki Pico, the covered spring-fed pool on top of the hill.... but.. I wanted to build... build objects for others to use....
I first built a cherry patio table set... and whoohoo.. sold a set at the open airmarket!!! I wanted more.... I began building a couple of other home furnishings.. and knew.. I needed my own place to try and sell... so.. without disturbing my land in Cowell to much.. I have begun building terraces as my shop... since it is at the water... and I have a couple of boats.. and wanted it capable for the boaters to stop on their journey... I built a dock attached to the front...
As I was building my dock... I had a brainstorm... since the dock was large.. thought.. it would be neat... to have it more like a "boardwalk" style... then... came the idea... why not offer other designers/builders a spot there... After much thought... to keep prims down... yet... offer more exposure to others... and an opportunity to guests for more of a selection... and different styles of furnishings... clothing.. fish.. etc... I wanted to ask... if you have, or willing to get "one" vending machine.... at NO charge to anyone... you're welcome to set up the machine on the dock.... If you're interested.. please.. feel free to contact me... and we'll set you right up
If we get a great response on this project... I will be happy to build another dock accross the channel on the sandbar...
