I'm tinking with some scripts, LSL and Perl, to give me a way of blogging while I'm in world. Are there any... Gosh, I don't know how to ask this. Is this okay to do? If I'm sending myself emails, and then a daemon is parsing them into web pages, does that go against any Linden ordinance?
Certainly it's not going to flood my server in an effort to slow the sim, that's not why I'm asking. I just didn't know if the Lindens had any preference about communicating from inside SL to the outside world? I have seen online games where they preferred in-world to be the only world.
Before I get started, I wanted to make sure it was cool. Thanks!

I've seen multiple items set up to do email from in-world to the outside. Bel Muse's human pinball from LindenWorld, and Candie Apple's lottery both make use of the feature.
Just remember the script delay from the email call, and I think the 4K (I think?) max string size.
Blogging from inside SL might be kind of fun, it sounds like a neat idea.

If you did end up doing this please post the link as I think it would be interisting to read Btw, its totaly fine to send messages from in world to yourself or anyone for that matter as long as it doesn't lag a sim like you said.
