When you upload, SL checks the serial number embedded into your Poser or PS file and compares it with a database of legit registered serial numbers and your credit card info. If a match isn't found, the file is locked within SL and your name is sent to the publishers of Poser and PS.

Strange. I missed the serial number embedded in that plain-text BVH file, or that standard JPEG file.

Oh.... you were trying to scare them. Errr... beware the perils of piracy! Argh!

When you say you downloaded it, it tends to make folks think you didn't pay for it. If you omitted that bit, you wouldn't get any flack from us.

If you paid for it, then you have nothing to worry about from SL. The system only reports the bad people.

alright, alright.

1) Look in the animation forum for the poser stuff. Seriously, everything you want to know is there.

2) Look in the design and textures forum for how to make alpha textures and skins (tattoos). Seriously, everything you want to know is there.

3) There was a great thread here about increasing sales.

4) Got me there, I had one when I got here.

5) You're welcome.

Seriously.

1. I have no freakin clue!

2. You make transparent textures by using alpha channels (on the channel tab of your layers toolbar) I would do a search in the forum or on the web for instructions. I can do a walkthough if you really need one.

3. Good marketing and vendor/shop/advertisment design! You can't make people buy stuff but by utilizing solid, eyecatching design and increasing the amount of vendors in key locations you increase the probability of making a sale.

4. Attend events that like-minded people are likely to be at. I go toa lot of builder events and of course Crescent Moon Museum Events and I meet a lot of people who have the same bents I do.

5. You are very welcome! ;)
