now THATS a project...but on a similar note, i'm still trying to figure out how i ..."mr zebra" can somehow carry a rider. people have been offering suggestions. one said something could be scripted to follow me and placed to follow me right where a saddle would go and then someone could sit on that.
found out no one can sit on anything atatched to an AV. which makes life difficult, doesnt it? but i fugure there has to be a loop hole and if there IS a loop hole, someone has already found it, but doesnt consider it the holy grail as i do. <grins>
if anyone has theories, ideas or something they know will work, feel free to IM me ingame or offgame. i'll get it eventually. oh wait. i;ve hijacked this poor guys topic. sorry, guy. hi ho silver away,
BB aka BH aka Mr Zebra

Roland -- how many prims you need that in - I'm sure theres a lot of ppl around that might be up for a low prim challenge.
Brandon -- in Gibson you could get a disk called a 'free ride' -- hella fun. you rez it on the ground and it follows you over your head (IM me in world if you can't find one in Gibson).
Anyways the script is modifyable --- you could tweak the script and possibly make a saddle that would follow over your back -- you could have a rider that way (unsure about how well you'd get it to follow you - or how fast -but it's worth a try, and you'd probably learn a few things about scripting along the way).
Cheers
Siggy.

<< Roland Orlowski >> How 'prim lite' should the horse be? Off the top of my head, you would have minimum 7 prims and an animated particle tail / stick. But that would look like a rocking horse. I think most of my basic animals with muscles and such have come in around 30. I have a few around 20. Anything less and they start to look like cartoons. If its just movement, the legs can be drawn to look good running or walking, few prims, easy to manipulate. All depends on how 'horsey' or 'rocking horse' you want it too look. Let me know the prim target and I'll give it a go. << Brandon Hamilton >> How bout using a vehicle script attached to a prim that has two sit targets, and the animation is reset to walking. Maybe a long, invisible stick, you both sit on it, one uses sit animation (rider), the other uses walk animation(horse/zebra). Heck, make the saddle the vehicle Something along that line could probably be scripted by anyone with a working two person motorcycle script. You'd be stuck with the physics of a motorcycle, but your AV should walk normally....as you miss turns and bump into guard rails (great...now everyone will have the idea....)
