Dissappearing objects while editing

I've noticed since V 1.10.0 that existing objects will seem to dissappear while editing another object. They visually disappear but reappear a short time later, so they are obviously not actually being deleted.

The only related observations so far are 1) the object that disappears seems to be one that is adjacent to the one being edited and 2) it only seems to reappear some time after leaving edit mode.

Of course, this makes building a bit difficult if you are moving around from object to object.

I'm curious if anyone else is seeing this.

I bug reported this yesterday. The object I was editing was the one that disappeared. Later one right next to it vanished, then reappeared a bit later.

I was close - so it was not the culling thingy.

Yeah this drove me mad when it first happened because I thought I might have moved the object off my property and into oblivion. So I was looking around for it and then came back to my property to find that it was still in the same spot I left it. Grrr.

It's nice to see it's not just me. Apparently there has already been one bug report on it. I may file a second because this still occurs in 1.10.0 (34)

None too impressed, in fact, pretty disappointed with the new patch.
I was running quite smooth and having fun building until the updates, now I have disappeaing objects as described by above posts as well as absolutely weird behaviour from shapes when editing them now that never used to occur.

I posted about this in another thread, but the latest patch didn't fix this problem for me. In fact it may have made it worse. Before if an object disappeared, I simply looked away and came back and it was there, but now I have objects disappearing for 10mins at a time. They're invisible, but I can still crash into them as if they're there. But if I tried to right click on that space, it wouldn't see the object. sigh.

Same Problem. Items randomly disappearing *but* , i dont have to be editting things for them to vanish. Had half a build disappear, then reappear two minutes later. It still behaved normally physically(couldnt walk through it), but i couldnt right click on it either. Prims are also randomly twisting them selves into interesting shapes once i click on them to edit.

Having the same issue here. I don't have to be editing anything for my prims to disappear. It can take 10 or more minutes for them to come back. If I relog they do show up again but I spend more time relogging then I do building.

The prims seem to just be completely gone for me. They don't even appear when you click and drag to select an entire area. They do however still show up for other people. My husband and I are building a house together and he is not having the problem at all and can see all of the prims that disappear for me. Also, I have noticed that only prims I have created will disappear.

Makes me want to tear my hair out when I am trying to build doors! lol
