Stumped on ZBrush

I finally got ZBrush for Christmas and am finally getting around to learning it. I've been going through cannedmushrooms and Vlad's tutes, very helpful. However, here's my big problem.

I do not have the Texture subpalette anywhere under Tools. I'm sure it's not activated for some reason, but I've exhausted every idea.

I am using an obj file from Wings. I used the Projection Master tool to paint on the object from an underlying canvas. I cannot proceed further because the Texture tool is not there in the Tools Menu.

I am using a Mac. Is it possible it's somewhere else?

If you open up a Zbrush tool - like the sphere, do you see the texture menu then? If so, then I'd suspect is an issue with the the obj you've imported. But that's just my best guess.

I just tried that myself, and you're right, the texture options are not available. The imported object file doesn't have a UV map. I suppose you could create one in Zbrush (to be honest, I've never done that since tools created in Zbrush are automatically mapped). Or you could create the map in Wings before sending to Zbrush. I know you can do that, but it's been forever since I worked with Wings, and I've forgotten how to create UV maps in the program for SL use.
