How do I make things "dazzle"? I set the directions to "shiny" but it doesn't act, say, like the "burst of light" objects I've seen or like a belt that I purchased. Is it a deep "dark" ..lol..secret? Thanks in advance. I'm trying to make a tiara that will shine for a bride.

Those objects are scripted and probably use particles to achieve that 'sparkle' effect.

Yeah, in combination with object shine, subtle (don't overdo it now! :) but welcome particle effects help to bring out that glimmer and spark.

Januss, it's encouraged you learn more about particle systems -- get yourself some free scripts like Eltee's engine or the one Ama Omega made and Jopsy Pendragon commented on (so it's easier to use, yay).

Head to The Particle Laboratory:

Tealink, The Ethereal Lands, Teal (215, 50)

And spend lots of time playing with the parameters to see what each one does. I hope you have fun and get the hang of it quickly.

Cheerio! :)
