Hey gang. I know this is easy, but I have poster prims to advertise my designs. If I have 10 on a wall, how can I group them all so I can move the intire thing at once? Also, is there a way to take that group and then snap all objects within it to line up with eachother to make it look good?
This is probably easy I just can't seem to get it.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. 1. CTRL L links all prims together. The last prim selected is the root. To select more than one prim at a time, hold down the shift key while left clicking on each successive prim. 2. The second question is yes and no. First the no. Once linked, you cannot move the prims in the linked set relative to each other without unlinking them (or via scripting which is another issue). Now the yes... before linking them, the experienced builders advise using Snap to Grid function for alignment AND using alignments by editing the numbers in the Edit window. For instance, it you start with your "root/central prim" at 100, 100, 25 and it is a specific size, then you can calculate the edge of a .5 by .5 by .5 meter prim to be at 100.25, 100,25, 25.25 on one side. So, using that as the edge to match up with, you then move the center of the "next prim" to the appropriate location numberwise based on its measurements - for instance, another .5 by .5 by .5 prim (c)/would be at 100.5, 100.25, 25.25 and should match perfectly. Hope that helps.
