I've made a Mac build of Secondlife with the experimental support of flexible sculpted prims (http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-9203) if anyone is interested. It is available here :

http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/51818/Second%20Life-flexi-sculpt.dmg

Go and vote for the jira if you think this feature can interest you... :)

Well tried it out. Still a little buggy. Alters how the sculpt map is use to much for my liking. Will be another learning curve to figure out how to build the sculpt to be flexi.

But great to see it in progress. Frame rate was not affected very much. had about 600 flexi sculpts filling my screen. Just wonder how bad it would be with 20 AVs on the screen all will flexi sculpt hair.

Boy Lane's Cool Viewer for PC already has flexi sculpts running. So far there is zero drop in FPS but a HUGE drop in LOD. With what I've seen so far, it has that "getting there" feel to it. (^_^)y
