I had long known about Frank Lloyd Wright's plan to build a Mile High Skyscraper and had intended to attempt a 1600 meter build when my skills were up to the task - alas they never got there. Okay, so it is a mere 1/10 the height of Wright's Illinois dream, but I stumbled upon Maxx Monde's absolutely titanic deco delight at Clara 205,46 tonight and was sufficiently impressed to want others to see it too. This thing is big, I mean really big, I mean when you sit on the red light on the top the clouds brush your head big. But it is not just big, it is artful and clean and - did I mention - big. While talking to Maxx about the structure I learned that it contains 996 prims and was constructed in a single six-hour bout of creative intensity with no pre-planning. If I recall correctly, Maxx often used the joke of a mile-high billboard of a phallus as a hyperbolic reference to things that would be bad. Well it is not a mile high and not exactly phallic, but it is well worth a look. Kudos Maxx, and thanks for taking my breath away for a moment.

Yes, Maxx's Skyscraper is truely a sight to behold. I agree!! If anyone has not seen this structure yet, you are truely missing out on one of the most creative builds I have ever seen in SL. And Maxx, I know you said you don't think the scraper is really resident/store friendly, but any chance you may put a couple of shelves in one of the inside rooms with tiny copies of the skyscraper on pedestals? And maybe some T-Shirts? hehe.. I want a souvenier!!
