I've been searching the forums, knowledge base, issues....but can't seem to find anything on this. It was about December when I lost the compass for my prim rotations and it's driving me crazy. I had a look through the long list of debug settings to see if a switch had been flipped with an update but no luck. Is anyone else having or had trouble with this? Did I miss the setting in the debug menu?

Do you mean you can't see the rotational manipulator handles? I've never heard of that happening before. What about the location and scale handles, are they still there?

Have you tried uninstalling SL, including all configuration files and app data, and then reinstalling?

Out of curiosity, if you can't see the manipulator, how have you been rotating objects? Have you been using the numbers all this time?

ETA: Day's answer has me thinking I probably misunderstood what you meant by "compass". If you indeed meant the white ledger lines, not the multicolored rings (rotational handles), then it's as simple as enabling Use Grid in the editor, just as Day said. If the manipulator is actually gone, though, then I don't know what to tell you besides do a clean reinstall.

ugh....Yep, it was just as Day said. I never know if an update has flipped a switch somewhere or if a cat has walked across my keyboard while I was off getting coffee. Thanks guys! I appreciate the help. :)
