I have decided to launch an ongoing project, The Second Life Historical Society. I will have a museum with artifacts, stories, and old pictures of long gone (newly gone) builds that shows the by gone days and times of SL.

I have only been around since April, but I have seen many dramatic changes to the landscape and world in general. Some events, WWII Online player occupation of Jessie and the Tax Revolt, for example, shape our history and should be documented.

This project is in the very infant stages, still lots to consider. I wont be able to do it alone, so it will only be as successful as its contributors. Donations of timelines, stories, and pictures will be readily accepted for review and possible inclusion for display in the museum.

If you have pics you would like to include, please send me an email with a description of what it depicts. Make sure they are historically relevant. loki_pico@yahoo.com

I seriously doubt I am the first to consider this idea. If you have a project of this nature already in progress, please chat about it here in this thread. Maybe we can work together on existing projects or you can tell me to go jump in a lake. The rest of the thread open to ideas, suggestions, comments, whatever.
