Hello, I heard a few talking about how the rich don't have nothing to do with there cash. Well an Idea. I'v already started reworking all the land in my zone "stanford" to make it more habitable. After all thoes people that left, and the servers were cleaned. they left big holes cliffs and other anomolies. I'm working on Stanford to bring it back some eye apeal. And even helped a few new people who didnt have the cash to manipulate large enouph areas to make things like a beach. It would be great if everyone could pitch in, but some of thoes holes are pritty big and require some masive funds. I'v been buying big spots edit them, release land move to next square. It's working well come by and have a look sometime. PS: If you are new don't have the funds but would like something fixed in your area, gimmi a tell, I'll see what I can do

I have done this too when I have seen an especially bad scar on the landscape. C'mon gang, if you buy a plot and alter it significantly, its polite to fix it before you move on to the next project.

The problem is not from them moving on, But from quiting and there objects and land being recycled into the system.

Very commendable I would help if I wasn't so laggy. Waiting to get a new system to be able to be more able to do things. I am also going to be starting into a project, but if I get my system soon, I will pitch in, I love landscaping even though its tedious. Maybe this could be a sellable service to those who are good at it and don't have a shop They could contract services for custom landscaping? Don't worry I have no need to sell my services as a landscaper, I would do it in my freetime lag permitting Just like everything else landscaping is an art, some are good at it some are bad. I can't see why someone can't market this ability, somethin for those landscapers to think on

If you have too much money, donate it to those who dont. Stop by the Alt-Zoom disco and leave me a donation or three - this is a massive project and even with the lindens giving me tax breaks im still finding myself needing more money all the time

I was considering doing the same thing

that is a wonderful idea Zypher and one I have considered doing myself. I have plenty of funds to help you make it happen faster, so send me an Im of where u want to help rebuiild and I'll be glad to help. What would be nice is if they allowed public land to be editable so u wouldn't have to buy it up and then release it. I wanna help you out, but my idea is to straighten up the entire old area. That's why those server regions are soo densely populated is cause noone wants to modify the land. Learned alot about land modifications since then and would like to help make Second Life look nice. Count me in Zypher

Here is what I think. The Lindens need to look at all the current builds in each sim, and create a new landscape based around what is already built. Many of these sims landscape's were ruined by beta testers before we had landscaping limits. This will save you all time and money. Also, since the lindens use a different tool to create landscapes, they are able to make much better ones.
