Anyone know a good one, I can't find one.

Should include;
-How to make it
-How to retrieve the UV Map for texturing.

Thank you.

The kit that you can no longer get doesn't have anything not otherwise available..I believe it had a posing stand and some textures (Hair textures available all over XStreet, from free to expensive)

As for the UV map... just use a labeled grid texture on the prim, really. You can't bake a UV map from within SL, and the usable section depends on your prim torture techniques. If you're using your own sculpts, then you probably know how to get that UV texture, if not, just ask about that specific program.

(By labeled grid, I mean something like http://tinyurl.com/nrsjaw I believe that one was made by Chosen Few, but am not 100% sure. Its original version is also much larger... this is from a quick google search.)

Try http://www.mermaiddiaries.com/2007/01/day-129-creating-prim-hair-part-1.html. It's in four parts, about the easiest tutorial to follow that you're likely to find. You don't need UV maps to texture, though. Just handle texturing the hair prims the same way you would texture any other prims. It's all the tutorial. Natalia is one of the more successful hair designers in SL and a good teacher.
