I had this idea in a meeting about the recent economic changes in SL. Of course, advertising is an industry that should be huge in SL, and my idea is for shirts that anyone could pick up and wear. They could advertise pretty much anything, and they could teleport you there with a right click. The shirts would pay out to the advertiser either in a "time worn" basis, or per TP like a referral service. I would make these myself but I am a graphics person and scripting is not something that I enjoy. So, I hope someone will use some of my idea because it would be a new service, which anyone could do.

Unfortunately, there is no way to script teleports in LSL. It can give out landmarks, though

OK, if it can't TP, how's about it is a vendor?
But, I have seen teleporters in SL, how do they not use scripting? |

Well, they can teleport you around a sim with the Sit hack, but they can not move you to another sim.... as I understand it.

The sit hack is not a true teleport. It just uses a side effect of llSitTarget to be able to "teleport" (read "move"
![]() Also, a t-shirt is usually just a texture. And textures cannot have scripts...only objects can. So your t-shirt would need to actually be an object that would be scripted. _____________________

Ahh, I see.
I guess it could be an object that sits over the main part of the torso. Or any object if you go in that direction. What about a little globe floating over your head? The T-shirt is just a fairly large canvas that is pretty unobtrusive, as compared to a large sign sticking out of you head. What about a thought bubble? |

Boy the club scene may get real intersting soon if someone does this... rofl. |
