Help lol! I am in a sandbox and I just dumped the entire contents of my old home parcel in it (including an assembled house), intending to take a quick look and pick it back up. But I have completely forgotten how to select and pick up a whole group of objects at once. I am sure I used to just be able to pull a selection box round objects and select everything inside the box! I haven't used it for ages so I don't know if I have forgotten how to do it or if something was changed.

In the Tools menu, set Select Only My Stuffs.
Get into edit mode (right-click something of yours and do Edit), drag all around the stuff you want to take and then right-click and do Take. _____________________

Ctrl-3 will open your edit window. Be sure to set "Select Only My Objects" in the Tools menu. Back off far enough to get all your objects in view and then drag a box around them to select them as a group. While things are selected, walk through to see if some small items remain unselected. As you find them, add them to the selected set. Then, take the whole selected group back into your inventory. And pray.
If you are lucky, the sandbox will have an autoreturn that will dump anything you forget back to your Lost & Found folder. |
