Is there a thread addressing a way to best make reflections of objects? I am really having a difficult time finding information on manipulating objects in this way. It seems like I have tried all the editable options and have managed some progress with some objects, but none with others.
Thank you.

What do mean by reflection? Do you want to make a mirror? If so that can't be done. If you want to duplicate an object to look like it's mirror image by recreating it that is something I'll leave to someone else to answer.

You mean... holding down Shift and dragging one of the arrows?

Yes, reflection as in mirror. It is something that a mirror does, true? Reflection the production of an image by or as if by a mirror.
I know that there cannot be exact reflections made, but I do know that there are various ways to manipulate objects to appear as though they are a reflection. I only wanted some tips as to some of the more advanced ways of this type of manipulation.
And no, I knew how to press down shift and create a copy from my third day in Secondlife. A copy is very different from a reflection.
Thanks for the reaffirmations, I appreciate it.

Ryntha,
Yes it can be done. It's not even that hard... But explaining it is. Personally, I'd make the primary and the reflected object at the same time, so you're effectively just reflecting individual prims. Mostly it's duplication then fiddling with the angles (turn local axes off, and rotate round the Z axis for instance).
I won't be in world for a while to show you, but I would suggest you search for the group 'Edifice Rex' from the find tab, and contact more or less any member. If they can't help personally, they'll know someone who can.
Good luck.
Sio.

Sio. Thank you, Siobhan. I will try this out asap. I know how hard it is to explain these kinds of things with words, it's much easier to show it - since it's a visual activity to begin with. Thank you so much for the advice.
