Trees in Slate

This is not so much a theme community as an encouragement. Come by Slate! There are a number of folks there who are building large trees and treehouses, and I would love to see more. It would be wonderful to see the area develop into an entire inhabited forest.

I'd be happy to donate trees. Just IM me.

i'm trying to get Taessa to move her tree to her land next door to our house in Slate. please help me guilt her into compliance.

That would be cool Damiana. We could terrorize the whole sim with our life forms! I like Taessa's place in Shipley, but it is on the other end of the world.

I guess I'd better get busy and work on my tree some more, so you all have a place to visit.

Good idea, was looking for something better for my land anyways. I moved from the slate border to the lake and started building a large tree (hollow) there. It's at Slate 57, 103).

Wonderful start on that tree Ezhar! That's a very clever approach, do you mind if I try something similar?

We are already starting to see some real growth happening. If anyone is interested in comparing approaches to growing and leafing out trees, stop by IW. Just look down by the lake in Slate. Also, visit Candie, she has a wonderful selection of textures for full trees, leaves, and bark.

Thanks. Nope, I don't mind, I'm not sure yet how to continue it from there, but I'll figure it out soon I guess :)

Ananda, this is wonderful! I love your idea, I'm sure you've seen my tree sitting there for quite some time now, yours is quite lovely and your company is much appreciated. =D
