Hi guys,
Rookie here with just a small question - is there a way to cut out a section of a prim (I.E. For a window, door, etc) or do I really have to create excess prims around the opening I want? Seems to me there should be a way to cut out a hole, but I just don't see it. Thanks.

In the edit window, on the "object" tab there's a slider and value box for "Hollow" play with that ;)

You can even change the shape of the hole with "Hollow Shape" dropdown box.

You havr to remember that when doing a hollow, say in a cube, it's going to cut the hollow in the X,Y surface Mellisa :)

Ah yes I should have mentioned.

The odd one out is the sphere, doing hollow with that will make a hollow space inside with no visible surface divisions. So with sphere, use cut begining and end, and Dimple.
