How do I set something as a shop?

I hope I'm posting this in the right area of the forum, but how do I set my property to show up as a shop? I just started and I'd like to open a tattoo parlor (At least for the time being ^_^), but I have no idea how to make it show up as such - Thanks,

To Set your land as a shop you need to Right Click the land and select "About Land" from the Pie Menu.

Then you can set the name for your land (or shop in this case). And fill in the description.

The only other thing you can do is to Put your land in the directory which you also do in the "About Land" window. Click the Options tab and check the "[] SHow in places directory" checkbox and select Shop in the drop down box. (this might not be exactly what it's called as i'm at work and am writing from memory". It will cost you L$30 a week to have your land listed tho.

Now if you click the Find Button and click the Places Directory your shop will be listed in the shops category.
