It's not hard to make a stylized heart shape out of prims. I'd probably just use a pair of cylinders, each stretched in the Y direction, thin in Z, and then hollowed and path cut. Unfortunately, though, you can't make one that way that's small enough to use in jewelry, unless you want to make something like a massive medallion.

Except for a few pieces that I have made just to play with, I haven't made much jewelry, so another expert may have wiser advice. If I were trying to make jewelry with a heart in it, though, I would probably create a texture and apply it to a small prim instead of doing it the way I described above.

ETA: Now that I've had a cup of coffee, it occurs to me that I should have mentioned making the heart as a sculpty. I assumed that you were asking about how to do it with SL's native tools, but if you have 3D modelling skills with a tool like Blender, that's another way to go.

There is another route you can take.

if i remember correctly you can torture a torus or tube into a heart shape. can't remember tho.

Hi Seraphina

I just made a rough hartshape.
3prim, 2 1/2cylinders and 1 blok, max taper at the X axle.
Depends if youre facing North or west? or not?

At rezzin i kept the original hight length etc.
All known 0.500M ;)

After linking, i chuse edit again, and use Stretch, to minnemysed.
Size was 0,012x0,012x0,012.
In rl it would fit in a cube 12MM around.

In Us therms thats 1/2 an inch.

Took me 2 min's, checkin and respondin toke more time.

Ofcourse the texturin is annother thing.

Hope its a help,
Keep buildin KISS.

Keep

Stupid

much regards Melissa
