I was hopping around a few nights back buying el-cheap stuff when I happened across an object in one of my directories called XY documentation. I read through it and my jaw hit the floor. What I saw appears to be a more complex edit screen, but I looked and looked and cannot find the actual item called XYObject. Anyone know what this is or where I can locate it :)

XyObject is essentially a scalable prim generator, enabling you to build large structures rather quickly. Lots of impressive Scripting by Xylor in this one.

You probably will need to contact Xylor about it, but I can tell you it costs and arm and a leg (and then some), to buy a copy.

I saw it at the Games Park in Fuschia near one of the tables. I had a brief look at it, seem to think I went a little dizzy at the price. Then moved on wondering what the hell it was. Anyone who uses one got any comments on it?

I brought this when I wanted to build something large and it does indeed build large things. However, if you need whatever it is you're building to join together well, then this isn't for you - the prims it uses to create the object don't join together well, sometimes overlap in areas and you'll have many gaps between the prims. It's a great piece of scripting, don't get me wrong, but what it produces isn't of any use if you want to create structures for use in a building, because of the prim alignments it ends up looking pretty messy.

xyobjects is the most stylish way to hit the prim limit on even the biggest plots of land ;)

I don't think I ever really got the most out of mine, but essentially it allows you to make complex prim shapes on any scale from multiple smaller prims. (note: i've quite possibly really missed somthing out there, but as I said, I dont think i ever got the most out of it )

It also seems to be doing WeirdStuff(tm) since 1.5, but some of the things it has managed to makre are quite... artistic, to say the least.

Here's an example of whats possible from XY Object:

Notice the little black dot in the middle of the screen.. That's an avatar.
