DarkLife 1.0 delayed by ISP

Hello, I haven't been able to play SL (or visit this website) for a week. My ISP finally admit they had a problem with routing in the new IP-ranges, and a lot of other sites are not reachable as well.
I found out that if I reconnect my cable modem long enough I can get an IP in the old range, and then I CAN play secondlife. The problem is if I get disconnected somehow (which happens every night anyway) I probably will get a 'bad' IP again, on which I can't play SL. So I probably can't work much anyway until they have fixed the new range of IP's, which could happen every day, or take as long as a few weeks.
DarkLife 1.0 is almost done, but I think I need another week or so before we can set it up. I'll keep you updated.

Sorry to hear about your troubles Mark, that stinks! :(

I had a quick question about Darklife that maybe you or someone else could help me with. I read about it on New World Notes, but even before then I had seen talk about it and such, and I've visted the area a few times now.

My question is, can anyone at any time come in and buy a backpack and start playing? Or are there set dates? Or do you have to be approved first? I'm curious for myself, but also so that I can have this information to pass along to new players who may be interested in Darklife. Thanks for your help! :)

Everyone can buy a darklife backpack at any time. It's in a house south of the castle, where you can also buy a basic sword and shield when you start. However the beta will be removed somewhere next week when I have the new version done so don't bother playing to long :)
